We wanted to put in a round pen for horses, which is not work T Burke's Asphalt normally does but we are very happy with the work that was done. We had our 450 foot old and worn out stone driveway replaced with asphalt millings a year ago and it's still like brand new. The crew did an exceptional job preparing and leveling the surface and then put on two 3 inch coats and steam rolled each. We have delivery trucks up and down nearly every day and still no sign of wear or ruts. Amazing. (neighbor had someone other than T Burke's do theirs the year before and it's full of holes and ruts). T Burkes is the best.

The Crew at T. Burke’s were fantastic. They removed my old asphalt driveway and put in a new millings driveway in just several hours. I cannot say enough good things about T Burke's Paving. We recently bought a house which had a very long driveway in very poor condition from years of neglect. Tom made an on-site visit and gave us several quotes for different paving options which was incredibly helpful. He was also very kind, honest, and not pushy even when my wife and I took some time to think about it. When we finally made the choice to go ahead with paving, Tom took careful notes of our requests and stayed in contact regularly with us to keep us up to date on the upcoming work - this let us plan around the work to be done without hassles or surprises.
The finished product is amazing. His team did an incredible job on our driveway. I almost can't believe how well it turned out compared to the driveway we had struggled with before. I'm glad we chose to have the work done, but even moreso that we found a local company like T Burke's that does such fine quality and affordable work. We're definitely looking forward to hiring them for some more projects in the future.

Burke and his crew did excellent work. I waited for over a year to write this review because I wanted to see how the work they performed in asphalting my long driveway and circular drive would hold up and it looks excellent with no cracks. Asphalt Driveway
We hired this company to remove and replace our 24 year old asphalt drive. We decided to use crushed gravel instead of asphalt. The worker that both removed and replaced the drive did an amazing job! It is beautiful! I would recommend this company to any that ask.

I had my very long and winding driveway paved with crushed asphalt. Mr Burke was incredibly attentive, offered considered opinions, no pressure. His whole crew, especially Bill, the crew chief, were excellent. They solved some long standing problems with ease, always listened to my concerns. They got the job done quickly. The price was reasonable and exactly as quoted. I can’t say enough about these guys.

Our circle drive is about 2900 square ft. Tom Burke gave us a very reasonable price for installing new asphalt and cleaning up the old crumbling edges. The work was done when promised, everyone was good about explaining what they were doing, and Tom came out to check on the work. We’re very happy with the work and highly recommend this company.

Tom Burke gave us a competitive bid was highly professional and very friendly and gave us a thorough explanation of the work involved. We are very pleased with the work of his crew and being retired I watched them complete their work, and took lots of pictures. Tom’s crew were very good in the removal of the old paving and the installation of the new paving. They followed my directions in several details where the bituminous paving met the stone pavers and where the driveway met the existing paved roadway.
This spring we are having Tom return for his periodic driveway surface treatment. I highly recommend Tom Burke’s work to others and after one year our driveway has never looked better.

Tom added and graded dirt around a new pole barn and put in an asphalt driveway for us last fall. Tom is VERY professional, easy to get a hold of, he gives you his cell number, there when he says he will be there and does the job agreed upon. Grading & Asphalt Driveway
I am an officer of a homeowners association that obtained quotes from several asphalt companies for a significant repair to our road. After obtaining quotes and getting to know 5 companies in the area we choose T. Burke’s. We are glad we did. Tom’s price was about the same as the others, but he did a better job in analyzing why our road failed and made a repair that should last. The quality of the work exceeded expectations. The project was completed on time. In addition to repairs to the association common property, he repaved several driveways in the development. The work is perfect. Tom has to be the finest gentleman in the business and you will be cheating yourself if you do not include Tom Burke in your project. Based on what I know from experience with Tom, the negative reviews in this blog are quite irrational, most probably written by competitors. Tom is an honest hard working good man.

Road Repair
This company tore our asphalt for my residential home driveway in Ann Arbor, and replaced it with concrete. Their quote was the most reasonable, and was almost half the cost of some other quotes I had gotten. The final product looks fantastic! There were some delays in getting the job completed, mainly due to rainy weather. They pulled out a basketball hoop along the side of the driveway at no extra charge–which was a challenge, since it was embedded in concrete. They finished the edge of the driveway very nicely to merge into a brick patio–seamless and much better than I expected! They added dirt and grass seed along the sides of the new driveway as a final touch–the appearance of the driveway looks great now! I have already had family and friends asking about who did the work and what their contact info is.
